Our very first donation toward this project is framed. A gentleman heard our ideas and emptied his pockets. That $7.00 will be deposited in 2021 when all three phases of our $5,000,000 project are complete for the Centennial Celebration of the Roosevelt Park Zoo.
We are confident not only in our ability as a community to reach our financial goals, but we are also confident in the importance of this project: including the importance of our Zoo’s quality of life and economic impacts in our region as well as the importance of our dual mission rooted deeply in conservation and education: all to protect the natural world.
We have raised $4,482,446 since July 2017. Every penny counts in this journey. Please join us. Membership is a great place to start. If you would like more information about tax-deductible naming rights options, please contact us at 701.857.4166 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Roosevelt Park Zoo Centennial Capital Campaign is a sure investment in the culture of our community, enriching lives in the greater Minot area. As a favorite tourist destination in North Dakota, your investment in the zoo will help strengthen our local economy as we work to draw more tourism to the Magic City. The Roosevelt Park Zoo is owned and operated by the community of Minot through the Minot Park District. The Minot Zoo Crew has committed to the project the largest gift in the non-profit’s history: $500,000. You can have confidence local leadership is dedicated to this important project.
Momentum around the plan is already inspiring funding. A $1 million grant from the Minot Community Facilities Fund and another $500,000 from the Minot Area Community Foundation (MACF) are providing this project a strong start toward its $5 million total cost and ensures we are able to break ground in 2018. You are invited to build upon this momentum, knowing your charitable gift will make a significant difference.
