2008 ZOO CAMP “Rainforests: Discover the Riches”

From young children to experienced scientists, no one is immune to the allure of the tropical rainforests. Rainforests capture our imagination like no other habitat. We envision huge trees, brilliantly colored birds, exotic animal species and teeming vegetation. Your child will discover amazing facts about the rainforests; its complexity, diversity and fragility. Kids will learn of the interdependent relationship of plants and animals in a fun and exciting environment at the Roosevelt Park Zoo. Your child will also have an up-close look at many rainforest animals housed at the zoo and a “hands on” opportunity to interact with other zoo animals.
