Your child is invited to hear a story and have an opportunity for "hands on" interaction with some of our animals. The Reading program is held in our Education Building. The cost is $2 per child for members and $3 per person for non-members. Please enter through the Zoo office located on the east side of the parking lot.
Book Signing at the Zoo
August 11th, Tuesday, Avery Nubson, author/illustrator of the award winning children's book Pandas Paint in Pajamas, will be coming to Roosevelt Park Zoo. This will be the last day of our summer reading program and we will be having two different sessions. You can hear Avery read his book at 10:00am and 1:30pm and he will stay for book signing afterwards. Panadas Paint in Pajamas is available for purchase in our gift shop.
