SIZE AND DESCRIPTION:

DIET (ZOO): alfalfa, fruits, vegetables, grains
DIET (WILD): grasses, roots, berries, bark

INTERESTING FACTS:

Warthogs will eat anything they can fit in their mouths, including wood and metal!
Our warthogs enjoy red beets, apples, carrots, and yams.
The tusks are actually teeth. They use them for fighting and rooting (digging).
Warthogs do not have sweat glands. They must wallow in the mud to cool off.

June-August: 10am - 8pm
September: 10am - 6pm
